From a small engineering lab in Düsseldorf to a global titanium dioxide supplier serving manufacturers in 360+ countries — Tinox Chemie GmbH has spent over 15 years building expertise, partnerships and a product portfolio trusted across six industries.
TINOX® started as an engineering lab specialising in titanium dioxide in Düsseldorf, Germany.
TINOX® established a strategic partnership with Pangang Titanium Industry Co., Ltd — one of China's largest TiO₂ producers.
Tinox Chemie GmbH was formally established in Düsseldorf, marking the start of our globalisation journey.
TINOX® intensified efforts on fundamental and application research of TiO₂ — launching product development and process optimisation projects.
The TINOX® brand began operating independently, establishing its own identity in the global pigment market.
Tinox Chemical Co., Ltd. was formally founded in China, deepening our presence in Asian markets and strengthening our supply chain.
We continuously invest in TiO₂ research and product development to deliver cutting-edge solutions that exceed customer expectations.
We believe long-term, trust-based relationships with customers, suppliers and partners are the foundation of sustainable business.
We operate in an environmentally and socially responsible manner, upholding ethical and moral standards across our entire supply chain.
From particle size control to logistics reliability, we pursue the highest standards of quality and performance in everything we do.
Titanium dioxide (TiO₂) is a white powder with the greatest hiding power of all white pigments. Non-toxic, chemically inert and extraordinarily stable, it is the backbone of white colour in modern manufacturing — found in everything from architectural paint to food coatings.
TiO₂ occurs naturally in three crystal forms: rutile, anatase and brookite. Rutile — the most common and commercially important form — delivers the highest refractive index, making it the gold standard for opacity and brightness in industrial applications.
Now, with years of operation in both Europe and China, we have built a large professional network across the global pigment industry — and we are heading into a bigger world.
With our growing network across Europe and Asia, we can help you source the right pigments. If you have any questions, it is our great pleasure to help you succeed.
